What’s the easiest way to get the venue?
The Ulster Hall is conveniently located on Bedford Street, a short two-minute walk of the city centre.
There is also a bus depot at Belfast’s City Hall which is a two-minute walk from Ulster Hall, which hosts all main bus routes.

Where can I park?
Ulster Hall is situated in the city centre with both on-street parking and car parks available.
Nearby car parks include:
- Dublin Road, Hardcastle Street, multi-storey car park
- Great Northern Carpark, Great Victoria Street, multi-storey car park
All car parks are independently owned and operated by external companies. Whilst these are open for most events, there may be times when some car parks are unavailable.

When does the venue open?
The venue opening hours will be displayed on the event pages along with show times, where available.
What time should I arrive at?
We recommend arriving 30-60 minutes before the start time. We advise arriving early to ensure you have time to scan your ticket, allocate your seats and avail of our hospitality offering. Our bar will be operational on the day of the event, we ask that all customers follow the directional signage in place. Please note that we will be taking card payments only and one member of your party will be permitted to enter the bar area to place an order.
What time does the event start and end at?
All running times will be updated on the event page when they become available. Please note that due to the nature of live entertainment, running times may vary but we will always be as accurate as possible.
What do I do if I am late?
In some cases, we may have to ask you to wait for a suitable break in the performance before we can allow you to take your seats. Occasionally this can mean waiting until the interval, if there is one.
Can I purchase food and drink at the venue?
The Ulster Hall hospitality points are filled with an array of locally sourced food and beverage items including a wide selection of chilled soft drinks, confectionery, snacks and alcoholic beverages to suit every taste;

- Wide range of both local and international spirits and mixers
- A selection of draught beers
- Choose from any of our small or large wine bottle offerings with various grape varieties
- A wide range of soft drinks including Deep RiverRock still and sparkling water

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help with any queries and reiterate offerings on specific evenings.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Only food and drink that has been purchased on the premise can be taken into the venues. Management reserve the right to dispose of any food or drink brought to the venue.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a formal dress code policy. If an event has a requirement, this will be advised at the time of booking and made known on the individual event page.
Are there any cloak room facilities?
There are no cloakroom facilities in the venue. Please note that bags larger than a laptop bag may not be permitted into the venue, this is for security reasons and to ensure the safety of all of our customers.
What do I do if I’ve lost an item?
If you have lost an item, please contact us and we will be in touch to confirm if it was handed in.
