Both the Waterfront Hall and the Ulster Hall are iconic venues in their own right. Both venues are located right in the heart of Belfast, welcoming leading artists from across the globe. Since the 1960s the Ulster Hall has been Northern Ireland’s spiritual home of rock music, hosting an almost endless list of famous names that has included U2, Coldplay, Thin Lizzy, The Clash, The Rolling Stones, and many more.

The Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall have acted as a staple pillar in the careers of upcoming artists both locally and afar and continue to welcome fresh new talent to our stages. From upcoming stars such as homegrown talent Ryan McMullan and his sold-out gig in December 2018, to pop princess Anne-Marie gracing the Waterfront Hall stage in May 2019, if they’re set to impress – they’re here in Belfast.

- Lewis Capaldi, November 2019
Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has established himself as a household name in the past number of years. From his witty social media presence, UK Number One single Somebody You Loved as well as his UK Number One album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, Lewis is taking the music world by storm across the globe.
Lewis is no stranger to Belfast. Having most recently supported The Killers at Belsonic music festival and visiting The Thirsty Goat bar in the Cathedral Quarter, Lewis is a man about town! Lewis is preparing for his first headline gig appearance at the Ulster Hall this November. With a sold out show at the Ulster Hall as well as selling out his headline shows in the UK and US, it definitely won’t be Lewis’s last time performing in Belfast.
2. Sam Fender, December 2019
Sam Fender is an English singer-songwriter who is best known for his alternative rock style. He’s already making a name for himself in the music scene, after being named one of the BBC's Sound of 2018 alongside other emerging artists including Sigrid and Lewis Capaldi, as well as winning the Brit Awards Critics’ Choice for 2019. His song, Play God was featured in the FIFA 19, whilst in the meantime making a rake of new famous friends including Sir Elton John.
With his new album Hypersonic Missiles being released this September, Sam is embarking on a UK and Ireland tour to debut this. His headline show is coming to the Ulster Hall, Belfast this December, something you don’t want to miss!
3. Mabel, January 2020
Mabel is also an English singer-songwriter who has taken the pop music world by storm in recent years. Her ‘High Expectations’ headline tour will feature songs from her debut album, also titled High Expectations. Mabel’s tour includes a 24-date UK and European trek, with her Belfast headline show coming to the Ulster Hall on 30 January 2020.
Mabel is on a mission and after her debut single ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ being named the biggest-selling single by a UK female artist in 2019 thus far, she isn’t here to mess around. Her new single Mad Love is already gracing the UK Top 10 and with a host of festivals, her intimate Mad Love shows and a huge run of dates with Khalid for the autumn already confirmed, she’s in huge demand. Make sure to catch her in Belfast whilst you can!
